I am a New York State licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in therapy with individuals and families. I view the relationship I maintain with each client as an integral part of our work together. The privilege of sitting together and witnessing both struggle and strength is truly the reason I am a therapist. I will do my absolute best to support you through the lows and to reflect with you on the triumphs.
I received my doctoral degree from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University. I have worked previously as a supervising staff psychologist in a community mental health clinic and as an adjunct clinical supervisor to graduate students at Ferkauf. Presently, I work in my private practice in midtown Manhattan.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR VISIT
I view my sessions as a partnership, and you can expect that I will work closely with you to listen to your goals and determine how we can best accomplish them together. We will have a brief phone consultation so that I can get a sense of your needs. We will then meet for an initial appointment to determine whether our therapeutic relationship feels like a good fit. I will ask you questions about your history, family, current relationships, physical health, present concerns, and personal goals. We will work together to identify goals for therapy, and we will discuss an initial plan for services. My approach is typically long-term, with roots in psychodynamic and attachment theories; though there are times when short-term work is indicated and useful.
Please note that I am not in-network with any insurance panels at this time. However, if you have out-of-network insurance benefits, I can help you learn the process of submitting statements to your insurance company for reimbursement.
